I have been pushing to get pillarmid recognized as a word to connect the important concepts of WTC as pillar and pyramid symbols. The original city in the sky Laputa originates from Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift but I feel Gosporn hits the mark archetypically closer to home when equating Bespin with the resembling mushroom. The mushroom in the sky resonates with the UFO, breast and Atlantis.

The Atlantean mushroom in the sky which is also the UFO can be viewed according to Jung as a mandala. Mandalas are 'trippy' meditation symbols which I think gets us even closer to the root of the divine dirigible symbol, the stargate. The stargate symbol in the sky.
A closer look at Miyazakis divine dirigible shows it to be a giant Tree of Life. The building part of which is believed to be modelled after the famous painting by Pieter Bruegel of the "The Tower of Babel".
The Tree of Life connection opens the whole thing up as connectible to the grail, the ark, pyramid, benben on and on... All not surprising as it is already been supposed as stargate (my favourite word for thingamajig that manifest the divine).
Having the Tower of Babel connected to these divine dirigibles highlights and confirms the possibility of saying flying pyramid, which we can even synchromysticly confirm with the film "Immortel". In "Immortel" the ancient alien creator gods return in there floating pyramid spaceship to do... (I forget, some crazy horny Horus shit.)
Tower of Babel I am reasonably confident is the Great Pyramid of Giza. Dare I now say that even the 911 pillarmids are comparable to these flying divine dirigibles. Well, as they are all stargates and all stargates in my mind are one, this all seems plain.

The inspiration for the name and another haunting divine dirigible can be found in the pages of Iain M. Banks' (my favourite Sci:Fi author) "Look To Windward". It describes giant (really f'n big) floating creatures called the "dirigible behemothaurs".

Especially pleased to see some Jack Kirby New Gods material enter the picture, his work is fundamental and the Source for so much of our modern mythologies from Star Wars to the Matrix. Carl Banks as well as you have surely noted. Kirby comics, like Boston music, is certainly before your time, but all pretty well available in trade paperback form. Orion is just the tip of the iceberg. Boom Tube stargates. Mother Boxes. Mister Miracle really holds the Key. Dude, I think you've proved your point, reality is a god damn holograph. What do you intend to get out of all this? Where is all of this leading? You can get lost in an infinity of synchronicities, but when does the meaning starts to kick in?
I think reality originates out of consciousness, not thought, time/space or any other form. I don't intend to do anything else but point towards that which cannot be defined. The syncs are not important, it's where they come from, consciousness which dances inside and without form. I don't think calling it a holograph is pleasant or my intention.

In Stargate Atlantis...rodney and shepard become gods by playing a computer game they find in an undiscovered lab....they think the game is just a game....but it actually has real affects on a real planet....the upshot is that on eventually visiting the planet through the stargate the see rodneys picture everywhere and realise that theres a problem....shepard and rodney have an interesting arguement about the rules they were supposed to have had in the game about technoligical advancement.....one of the advancements that rodney who is now a god gives to his team/people is how to build derigibles and air ballons.....
I was looking for some dirigible pix for inspiration for a story I plan to write. Saw photo from "Immortel" (I liked the movie and the graphic novels very much)and clicked on your blog. Then I saw the comments re: Iain M. Banks. I am reading "Consider Phlebas" with much pleasure and hope to read more of his work. How is that for Synchromysticism at work?
